w202 hoods?

whats up guys, i was wondering if they ever made any hoods that look more aggresive for the 202? i have an idea that might work. i like how the slk and the ml55 hoods are! i was wondering if i bought an slk hood cut the two bumbs that it has on and put it on a 202 hood and bondo it in? what do you guys think? will it look good?:D

that would be interesting if you could pull this off, I really like the slits made in the hood, I remember steve showed a pic of someones car with them, and a member here had them also, but just on one side, i think the slits were smaller too, well good luck on this...

Yeah I've always thought that the c43 with its spoiler package similar to an slk would look great with the same hood treatment.

they make an slk hood for the w202 you can find it in the performance products mercedes catalog 1-800-243-1220 its 1450.00 USD and the grill is 632.40 its bolt on no modifcation i will get this picture for you later on.

Dr. Drew is right, i remember seeing a performance products catalog that had a special hood for the c-class. It made the grill smaller and more sleek, but i dont remember if there were any scoops or anything on top....:confused:

I actually called the guys and its an sl hood, the grill is around 700+ hood is same price, so just look at those, looks sweet to me

Theres a VIS carbon fiber hood. It sells for like $450-500.
