It's inventory time at the Brabus factory and my connection is putting together a list of 202 specific items theyh still have laying around. I'm arranging it so that if we buy a bunch of stuff together as a Club202 purchase (though pay separately), that we get a good discount.

I just wanted to first check and see if there's some interest so we don't waste anyone's time. Sounds like we got some interest. I will post the list on this thread when I get it.

Thanks!

Wheels wouldn't be a part of the 202 inventory, but I'm sure they'd be happy to sell you some. Depending on whether they are current stock or not, I couldn't tell you what kind of discounting there would be from the normal retail cost. Mostly it would depend on what else was being purchased as a "Club 202 group buy."

I also checked with him and it's still a minimum of 10 to remake the Brabus kit I have on my ride. I suggest anyone interested open up the existing thread using the "search" button. Since I already have one I am not getting involved with any bodykit purchases. :D

Oh, and BTW, I am not replying to anyone personally via email. That takes too much time and I prefer to just post on the board when I have more info. Not trying to be rude but don't expect a response. Thx.

97Brabus: do you have other pics of your car?

Yeah I have a bunch but my home PC has crashed and I can't get to them right now. I got a few on my work machine but they aren't as good as the others. I still haven't had the time to make a nice post on the Members Gallery.

hmm... this could solve my battle over which muffler is worthy... if the price is resonable ^^;

Well I love the sound of my Brabus exhaust. It doesn't line up perfectly with the stock bumpers though. It's set up for the Brabus bumper.

P.S. I still haven't gotten the parts list. I will give the guy a call today.

As I had posted above, I will be posting the list of parts on here when I get it and define how Brabus would like to process the orders while still offering the discount.

I will not reply to personal emails on this due to time consumption.

Sorry guys...Brabus has been busy with car shows lately and I almost wore out my welcome...

Unfortunately the list was smaller than initially anticipated before they did their inventory...but for anyone that has an SLK there is LOTS of stuff. Just shoot me an email if you have interest in SLK goodies and I can prolly hook you up! brian@runamuk.net

W202 Specific Brabus Inventory

Springs for 4cyl models (220 and 230) Retail: $295 Your Price: $236

Rear Brabus bumper (with exhaust cutout for Brabus exhaust) Bolts on to 94-97 without additional work Retail: $625 Your Price: $531.25

Any additional kits, you'll have to organize a group buy of 10 or more to get them made. I think there are a few guys who have already been looking into that.

Remember that you will be responsible for shipping (and tax if you are in CA.) Drop me a line at the email address above if you want these items or anything for an SLK.

Sorry for the delay!!!

Hey, sorry guys...I wasn't the one doing inventory. Initially the guy I know at Brabus thought there was a lot of stuff for the 202 but when they did inventory he found out that the massive amounts of extra stock was for the SLK.

Please keep in mind that this was Brabus USA the smaller of the 2 factories, and not the one that molds the parts. Please also keep in mind that the 202 hasn't been made in years and from a manufacturing standpoint...why would they make much now when they could focus on the new cars....let alone send it aross the world just to let it sit.

Oh, and there was only one set of floormats...which I picked up. :)

Having said all that, I feel that I came through. I unfortunately wish I wouldn't have repeated what I heard from Brabus regarding "lots of extra inventory" in the US warehouse. Hate me for it if you want...but remember the 202 is not a production car anymore so Brabus just doesn't make and/or stock that much 202 specific stuff. Our cars are not hondas and for that I am thankful!!!

97Brabus

LOL! Man...I am still bent about the floormats too. They were in inventory in the computer but not in the warehouse...so Brabus called me back saying sorry...we don't have them. Germany doesn't have them either. I want them!!!! If anyone can find them in new or semi-new condition in ash grey color...let me know!!!

are the sport muffler just the muffler or is it a compete exhaust system? also is it the slant type? I'm interested in it if its the slant type.

97Brabus
03-17-2005, 09:30 AM
It would be the slant type. Let me know if you're interested and I'll make sure it's still in stock.

Thanks Jnolte! It's nice to see appreciation from some...even though there's not a ton of parts!

There's just no inventory for our W202s. Since my last post the sport muffler for the 6-cyl has been sold...sorry.

There's still a rear Brabus bumper for the Brabus Sport Exhaust....

Rear Brabus bumper (with exhaust cutout for Brabus exhaust) Bolts on to 94-97 without additional work Retail: $625 Your Price: $531.25

I'm also checking to see if there's any black floormats left. The light grey color (like my car) is all gone.

I also have a verified list of SLK parts for those of you that have the SLK and want Brabus goodies for below retail!

Send an email to brian@runamuk.net if anyone is interested.
