used search, but no clear answer to my question.....
18x8 30mm et front rim on 1995 C36..(amg monoblock wheel)...will this work? or is this going to stick out too much?
I used search and noticed that most are running 32m or 31mm 18" monoblocks, but I did not read anything about 30mm offset being ok.
thanks!

31 is what I have and it's pretty close. A little rubbing here and there, but nothing too serious. Is your car lowered?
I think a measly 1mm wouldnt make too much of a difference. Just dont go with a tire with a rim bead.

I have H&R sport springs on stock shocks. There is about a finger gap between tire and body.
I'm buying a set of Dunlop SP9000 225/40/18 and 255/35/18. (they worked very well with my 17s at high speed)
I was reading your posts from a while ago and comparing rims to your setup. If I remember correctly, you are running 18x9 35mm on the rears.
do you have any pics of your car with this wheel setup?
anyways...I bought the wheels, just wanted to get a second opinion. Just waiting for delivery.
Thanks for the quick reply!

it should fit just fine. Might need to trim your bumper(where it meets the fender).

(for people who search this information)
this is what I'll be running on my 95 C36.
Front: 18x8 30mm offset 225/40/18
Rear: 18x9 35mm offset 255/35/18
Wheel: AMG Monoblock ........you know...the big fat ones. :)

I never needed to trim my bumper. I said he "might" need some trimming. Trimming depends on the bumper allignment.

I had these tires on an Eagle Talon. They were far superior to other tires I used.

I spoke to the people I bought the wheels off of and they made a mistake when they quoted the front offset.
Turns out that the front is et 31mm.
They are original AMG 18s.
Feel much better now!
