will a 95 deck plug and play in a 98? i searched but i didn't find an answer to this... thanks...

It should plug right in. The main difference being that the buttons are a little different and the 95 radio does not need a CD changer that "handshakes" with the radio like the 96-98.

well i am not using my stock deck... and norcal needs one in his 98 280 cause he cant see the display on his... so ill post up this weekend and let everyone know if my 95 deck works in his 98...

hmmm that sucks... i wonder if norcal still wants it... especially since my car is now gone... i really have no use for the deck...

Not to 'hijack' this thread but will a '99 head unit plug directly into a '94 with a bose system? The volume knob on my current stereo has gone wacked and I'd like to replace it.

The '99 HU model # is CM2299 pictured here

The radio and tape player would work but not the CD changer as the deck in the picture uses fiber optic for the data transfer.
