Urgent !! Please help. Stop while driving?

My brother just gave me a call saying the car (1998 C230) went dead while he was trying to park the car. He's an hour away from where I am and I cannot go back at this moment.

From what he told me ... the steering wheel shaked, weird noises from the engine, then all the lights on the instrument cluster light up. What happened ? How to fix the car ?

well that is difficult to troubleshoot.. it could be a number of things, something broke in the engine and seized the engine, for some reason the enigne stalled... no fuel, no battery.
does the car do anything?.. turn the key in te ignition, will everything light up? does the engne crank over at all?
might need the tow truck, off to the dealer it goes.
