Well I just ordered 2 control arms, 2 ball joints, four front camber bolts, h&r springs, 4 #1 pads, 2 rear eccentric bolts and I'm about speedys camber arms for the rear. I'm doing the work myself but I have one question for the suspension gurus. Should I install the camber bolts myself or should I wait until I take the car in for alignment and let them install the new bolts? Another question is for speedy, if I order the camber arms on Monday how long before I get them. Thanks for any input in advance.

you can install the bolts yourself.

just be careful. when installing the bolts, do it one by one, otherwise if you unbolt all of them at the same time, WATCH OUT!
the control arm will spring out at you, which is something you wont see even on JACKASS. but dont be intimidated by this, if you let the alignment shop install them, they will charge you an hour or two on top, so why pay them if you can do it yourself.

i'm replacing the whole control arm too so I pretty much will have to wear body armor to avoid a catastrophic repair ;) I really appreciate the input, this goig to be a whole day or two project.

Looks like somebody will do a lowering job. I just did my Crossfire(exactly like SLK suspension) today.

Why you need to replace the control arm?

with all the trouble to just change the bushings I called a friend of mine and got the complete control arms for a real nice price. One interesting note though was that I've read here that there is no adjustmet available for the rear camber but my dealer said there are eccentric camber bolts for the rear. I don't think they would help me after the drop so i'm ordering the speedy arms anyway

One more question....I ordered four #1 pads is that ideal because I want a level look to my car.

the back usually ends up a tad higher than the front, unless you got alot of ICE..

I am still new with modifying things, but I was just curious, when you are talking about getting 4 #1 pads, are those brake pads or something else?
