Optima Batteries

Hey guys,

A stereo shop right by us is getting rid off their OPTIMA batteries.

I got two red tops for $60ea, and a yellow top for $120. These are about 50% off retail. If anyone interested, I can forward their contact number, although I think they do prefer you pick these up at their shop.

They only have few red tops and about couple dozens of yellow tops left.

10"x7" - smaller than most MB batteries. The size was just correct for my 170.

That size will do fine! It's about 1/2 of your original size.

I want a yellow top because it's more expensive? What's the difference between the two? I guess I could get a red top if its OK for a no ICE car (stock premium Bose).

Also, which is better for the C43? Is it true that the OE MB battery on the C43 needs maintenance (water) and that the Optima batteries are maintenance free?
