Hi:
I have a 1999 c280 sport, It has been park for approximatelly 3 weeks. The other day I took it out and notice the right side signals are not working. All the bulbs seem to be good. Not even when I put on the factory alarm they go on. But when i turn the lights they work but not the signal. Any Idea, please advise.

Could it be a fuse?

Had this exact same problem last summer and I think there is a thread in here somewhere.
Anyway, I was very frustrated because the lights were working perfectly, just not blinking! I checked the fuses and the relays, including the ones in the trunk and it all checked out. Power was fine and electricty was flowing.
Turned out it was the combination switch, the actual blinker itself. I had to replace it. Dealer wanted to charge me $500. I think they remove the steering wheel to access the column. Fortunately, my independent did it in under an hour, for like $50, but I think the switch itself was around $100 on the internet...can't exactly remember but I bought it online and had him install it.
If your lights and fuses check out, I bet that's what it is.
Good luck and let us know!
