anyone? :D

I am thinking with 245\45 they will look like normal non low profile tire..

maybe I should go with 235\45 or 245\40?

Well I think those tires are too wide for the rims.. you'd be better off running 17x8.5's for tires that are 245 or 255.. and Id go with 245 or 255/40/17 tire. the 45 series will be a bit tall.

I ran 245/40/17 S-03s on the 17x7.5 C7 wheels on my sport coupe. I kept the pressures a little lower and monitored tread wear with a vanear (sp?) caliper. They were ok, I even autocrossed on them.

I did experience a bit of deflection once the tires were worn. But I wore them bald... no cords, but literally all the way past the wear bars.

You could do it, but for 245 you should at least do 8.0, 8.5 is optimal.

hmm..well I would like to get 45 series sidewalls.. I dont think it would look right having 215\45\17 in teh front.. cuzz that what I got now... and have a 245\40 in teh rear... wouldnt that look odd?

well I guess I can go with a 235\40 or 235\45.... I have been holding off for weeks now on tires becuzz I dont want to buy the wrong ones.. cuzz once they are sold.. and on the car its a done deal =\

You want to keep the tires close in overall diamter.

You should do;
225/45/17 F
245/40/17 R
