I used different products like Armor... etc. on the wood, and every product just leaves this foggy residue, nothing cleans the wood trim. Anyone know how to clean it so it is nice and shiny and no foggyness? (i know foggyness is not a real word)

I just use a damp towel after washing my car.

Windex and a lint free cloth work great.

microfiber "magic" rags "as seen on tv" - yes they do wonders. just add water. repeat as necessary.

Thanks for the replies, im going to try a wet rag first, if that doesn't do it, I will try windex, and if that doesn't do it I will use microfiber towels or the m. plastic cleaner....:)

I use Pledge or any other household wood cleaner and a lint free diaper rag. It works really well too. I tried it one day thinking "Hell, it's real wood, might as well treat it that way."

The meguiars plastic cleaner and polish works wonders. I have also heard that piano polishh works extremely well.

The plastic polish works by cleaning any thin layers of residue away, buffing out light scratches, and adding gloss and shine, not to mention a layer of protection. I would imagine piano polish does the same.
