I just had my Koni Suspension kit installed over the last weekend, and i am very pleased. I drove down to San Francisco to Susanto's house (pnsji), where he and Scott (Scotty-C190E), did a wonderfull job on my car. You can tell they are both VERY educated on Mercedes Benz, especially the w202. After just a few minutes being with them both, i had full trust in them. They take their time and make sure everything is done the right way. We used #1 pads in the front, wich droped the car way to low. I was rubbing on turns after it settled. So when i got my #4 pads, Susanto installed them just a day later after he got off work wich was very helpfull since its my everyday car. I am very pleased with the job they did, and had a good time and learned a few things while i was around the two. They have very reasonable prices and I would recomend seeing them if you need help with any of your w202 tuning needs.

Anyone thinking of getting the Koni Sport Suspension Kit should get AT LEAST a #3 pad up front. The spring drops it pretty low, lower then H&R up front (according to Susanto). I used 4 up front and 3 in the back and the car looks level. Just sitting above the tire. I have the shocks on full soft, and the set up feels great.

Nice, glad someone got some help over the forums. I was wondering, how much lower was it in the front? What size rim/tire you using.

Do you guys know if it's possible to run different springs in the front? my front is pretty low on #1 spring pads ...but i want it like 1-2 inches lower. I'm on eibachs and bilstein. Thanks

Thanks Ian! Great to meet you and I'm happy your car turned out so well...literally! :D Feel free to contact us in the future for anything else we can help you with. Here are a few pics of Ian's car right after Susanto and I finished, using the #1 pads in front but before it had settled:

When the springs settled, i would say it was prolly 5mm lower then the picture. The tire was tucked under the fender. It looked really good, i wish i could have kept it that way, but it was scraping on turns to much. I have 18x8 Armano Dunamis Rims all around, ET 35 and Nitto 555 Extremes (225/40/18). Im thinking about puttin on 19's soon, prolly not till summer actually since the 18's rims/tires are only a few months old.

good job fellas...those koni kit look very nice...btw your car would look mean if you get spacers on the rear...or when you get 19s try to get it staggered...overall i like the drop

I have 10mm H&R spacers in the rear. It looked a lot worse w/o them. And yes, on the 19's i will either get staggered or bigger tires in the back.

I dont know if mercedes center caps would fit cuz i dont have any. That would be cool if they would, where do they sell them? I'll try ebay..... I know the back windows are limo tint, as for the 2 front windows i forgot what % they were. I remember they guy saying it was the next shade away from limo tint, just slightly lighter tint then the limo.

I am in the process of getting 19" Axis Milano 19 8.5 front and 19 9.5 in the back. I was told by edubb with toyo tires it should not rub. What suspension will you recomend. I can not lower the car to much since I live in Boston Mass and the roads are not that nice. But I will like to lower it. Any advise will help.

Thanks

Zeke

I just wanted to add to the praise of SStuning. They worked on my rear suspension last weekend and they were awesome! Definitely great to have them in the Bay Area :)
