Here's what i have,
after only 5k miles after putting brand new OEM rotors, and Porterfield R4S pads in, i have vibration in steering wheel at high speeds when breaking hard. It's been diagnosed as grooved/warped rotors. When i look at them they seem like only some minor thats in my opinion grooving.
Question is, should I resurface the rotors? Should I get Brembo rotors same size etc. I heard aftermarket rotors are different steel than the possibly too soft material OEM rotors. Now even if I do get new rotors, or resurface them, will I need new pads? Mind you there's only 5% used in these pads, they are practicly new, but of course, will they cause new grooving and same problem on the new rotors? Btw what I think happened is I overtightened the wheels and got the rotors messed up that way, didn't have a torque wrench available (going to get one as we speak just to double check everything)
any suggestions on the most efficient/cost effective way to fix this?
thanks in advance
