Ya i wouldn't mind the 2 piece (2/6), but i had a really hard time finding a set that would fit my car.

Besides i gotta pretty good deal on these rims that I couldn't say no.

I don't live in the bay area...i wish :)

Oh, ok. I only ask because I saw a car very similar to yours going across the bay bridge Thursday evening.

Your car looks amazing. Did you go with certain spring pads? How do you like the way it now rides and drives?

Thanks,

e harmon

The wheels are orgiinally 37mm off set, and i am running 5 mm spacers all around

I went with the prokit 1.2 inch drop with bilstein sport shocks.

I have #4 pads in the front and #3 pads in the rear. I may change this to #3 all around.

The tires that i am running are 235/35 19 toyo proxes 4. In terms of rubbing -- i haven't had any issues, other than of course from the camber in the rear.

Ride quality - i like it a lot. The ride is very comfortable. I hardly notice that I have lowered it in terms of the ride.

I do however have some sort of sound coming only when i apply the brakes to turn. I think this may have to to due with my brakes. They are old and need to be replaced.

It is a little more difficult to stop b/c the wheels are heavier,, and also you can feel the loss in power b/c of the heavy wheels.

Kswiss, i like so cal, but i'd also like the change in scenary too...and these days the advantage of living in socal isn't as apparent, what with the bad weather and really really expensive home prices!

are the spacers 5mm made by carlsson? interested in trading a set of 10mm spacer for your rears?

how come I always hear people say they rub a lot with 19's and then I see a post once in a while with a no rub situation? Is it a width thing. Or a drop thing?

Its a width, drop, and driver issue

i didn't drop a lot, i kept my #4 pads, and I drive fairly slowly, and i live in an area that has really good roads. so i don't rub

Well that's the price you pay for, for the best weather in the world, the best looking woman in the world, and the most traffic in the world. I've stayed in many places in the world, and nothing beats california. Everything is just 20 miles away every direction.
As for the weather, this winter has been a rare season as like the el nino year. While I was away for winter, I heard la got alot of rain, and when I got back after a month, it was still raining. On an average year, you will see rain 2-3 weeks a year at most. The last time i can remember it rained liket his was el nino.
