car part melted

the clamps on the inside of my front smoked aftermarket corner melted.....any ideas why this would happen?????.....i have had them on for two years now.... and they just melted.......and any body know where i can get a new pair...its been so long i forgot where i got these from.....

that might just be it......but wouldnt both sides melt not just one side???

where are your ballasts? do ballasts get hot?
