Brake Replacement for 99 c280

hey, im 18 year old kid that just got a car this past january. got me a 1999 c280 in cashmere./champaign with 56k miles. love the car, the only problem is we bought it with the brakes being below the minimum requirements for mb. When i went looking for rotors(b/c the rotors were groovy) and pads i found a shitload! so i got a list of some possible rotrs and would appreciate it if you could help me make the decesion on which to get. here is the list

EBC Sport Grooved Rotors
PowerSlot Power Slot Rotor
PowerSlot Cryo-Treated Rotor
Zimmermann Cross Drilled
Balo
ATE
Brembo Cross drilled.
mb oem replacement

Mind you im on a short budget and the brembos are kinda out of my range.
ALSO what pads should i get with these brakes as the brake guy told me that the oem pads are just "fine"

The stock brakes worked good for 56k miles, right? If yer not pushing the car, go stock.
Or you could dump a few grand into some really neat brakes that you'll probably never take advantage of.

The OEM brakes work pretty well.

Yeah, unless you specifically want the look of slotted or drilled rotors I think stock rotors are best. You might wanna try some aftermarket pads though to cut down on brake dust. I got a set of PBR deluxe from mercedesshop.com. They don't quite have the stopping power of stock(not a huge difference by any means), but there is no annoying brake dust.

Do a search, there is a wealth of info on brakes in previous posts.

I would stick with stockies, but buy them from a Wholesaler not the Stealership.

Yeah sorta not gonna work for mbLova.

Like the other suggest what are your driving habits (dont think down the road like: eventually ima autox the car, if youre just stop and go commute back and forth OEM might just be the way to go.

But do search the site as different combinations have been discussed before. This site is one big database and theres alot in there for ya :)
