soo i bought my car used... got a great deal 99 c230k only 55k miles... only problem i have is that the bastard who had it before me didnt get the optional $150 upgrade to the tilt wheel... the wheel sits rather high and its kind of anoying while trying to drive. im planing on replacing it with a two tone wheel or a chrome starred wheel, but interms of converting the thing into a tilt wheel is that at all possible? well anything is possible, has anyone done it and how did you go about it? thanks in advance!

i was under the impression that 202 wheel only had the telescoping and did not come with a tilt. But it is possible to retro fit the telescoping wheel to one that does not have one.

I think Mike from Nl who is also on this board did this as well. Find one at the wrecker with the assorted bits and trim and have a go.

Then again the MB powered seats can get you adj without the aid of moving the steering wheel :)
