I've looked through search and it would appear that one can not install an I-pod into the stock head unit of a 2000 C230 without disconnecting the CD changer. What about the telephone input? Can that be used instead of the CD input?

Also...I am a closet Howard Stern fan and want to install a Sirius tuner in my car. Is there any way to do this with the stock head unit?

It appears that the stock head unit in the 2000 C230 doesnt have an AUX input. Thats why they are telling you that you would have to unplug the cd player.

The only other options you have are FM tuner for both your ipod and sirius radio.
OR
You can buy an aftermarket radio with AUX input and get an icelink (search google) i have an icelink and it works great. You could also get an aftermarket radio with sirius receiver built in.

Even though the second options will cost you a couple hundred dollars it is a lot more convienant than keeping your stock head unit.
