hello there Benz gurus,

this is my first post.. so here goes..

I drive a 1995 C280... planning to install a Eaton M62 supercharger into the car. Was told that it is a perfect fit for the car by the seller and no modofications needed. Is this true?

I also want to know wether there are adverse effects on the internals such as pistons, crankshaft etc.. my previous car was a Version 7 Subaru impreza... so I know all about turbocharging, and how punishing it is to the internals of d engine.

btw, wondering wether there are such thing as a chip upgrade for the car to increase power.

tqs in advance for ur assistance.

about the supercharger, I am not sure, but as for the chip, go to www.powerchipgroup.com or www.upsolute.com and look for a dealer in your area.

I don't know if I would beleive your dealer when he tells you that it is a perfect fit and that no modification is needed. I have read that it is more hassle than it is worth to put in a supercharger or a turbo esp. on 1995.

I would suggest searching this site's forums and reading up on what other users have to say about installing a supercharger.

do a search under POWERDYNE and read my posts on supercharging a I6 C280.
