don't want to sound like an ass, but 300 is a lot. Someone else is only charging 150 and is also in the bay area. and if I went to a shop to have it done, they'd only charge me 250 or so.

they charge $200 around here for professional install. I think stealership charges about $300.

Spring install should cost $120-150 max. If you have a special tool, it makes swaping springs very easy. Springs can be swaped in 25min with the right/correct tools and know how.
