need your input on tail light pattern. pls read!

I am building custom LED taillights, not like the thing you see on ebay.

Now, I need to know how to plit the lights.

I can do same as factory: parking on lower part, blink and reverse middle and brake top.
I could also invert brake and parking... brake bottom, parking top.
Then I could do parking top and a line on bottom, and then the rest of the bottom when braking.

That is if I use factory lenses. If I use a clear lens and spray it black afterwards, then sky is the limit, I could do a surrounding for parking, a round for brakes, the blinker around it.. name it I could place the LEDs where I want

What do you suggest?

I'd leave the posistioning how it is, its like that for a reason.

No doubt hours of testing discovered that it was best to have the brakelight at the top - safer etc and not at the bottom.

I am intrested in converting mine to LED, I look forward to hearing your progress.

Either stock pattern or inverted would be great- I just want to see LED tailights that are classy looking and I'm sure you'll deliver on this. Let me know when they're completed...

hey man keep the original patter, im willing to do the same process out here in new jersey, i mean im 18, and pretty good with electronics, but i will prb need help in setting this up, anyboyd willing to help out here in nj is welcome, also i need to find a friggan junkyard where i can find old used w202 tail lights to work on, just holler at me

hi i just found this when i searched for clear tail lights, has any one made theres into LED i just had my black c280 delt to by a jeep cherokke, so thats gone. i lookin at a new silver 280 and thinking about clear white tails but i would want to convert them to LED because the clear tails iv seen u can see a red and orange glow form the colord bulbs even when lights are off and ot looks stupid! iv seen red LEDs that look clear/chrome when not alight so that would look sick the lights when off would be white/silver ohhhh yeah sounds good to me. so yeah any one done this?
