Just saw this on benzworld. I know there's an earlier topic about it but I think these are new pics:

I saw it yesterday, it's pretty insane, but seriously, as I replied there, why he did not put a turbo on a benz engine, it removes everything IMO

Toyota Altezza....2JZ-GE......is300?

Inline six....but it looks like he has some turbo goodies which is more commonly found for this engine....like from the Toyota Supra. I'm sure it's much easier to get parts for...and maybe cheaper....than modding the m104.

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't the 2jz-ge put in the non-turbo supras?

EDIT: also in the gs300's

already done on the M111 engine

speedwerx on mbklasse did it.

For now at only 12psi he has like 250whp and 268wtq

stock electronics

for more he has to go standalone...

I don't know if the bosch from the W202 is easier than the Siemens from the W203 to modify, I would think yes, but I'm sure not many people know exactly how they go.

that's definitely a car in Thailand, most Thai would take out the m111 engine and replace with a 1JZ or 2JZ. beefing up the m111 wouldn't make much sense, since it would cost much more to you if you want the same number horse power as the 2JZ-GTE. and most w202 are equip with the m111.961 (C220) since this model is much cheaper than those with C280 in Thailand.

anyway, for my case i would install the turbo (T3/T4 hybrid) with the m111, might not worth the money to BHP, but com'on, it's a Merc. wouldn't want to have a Japanese engine in it. And the weight distribution wouldn't be ruined if i work on the m111.

btw, does any one know how much it cost for a set of Venolia piston?

well for the same pressure a turbo can have way more displacement of volume

I can check what turbo he has, I know he had plan to change it to a different model. His goal is way more power than this, but he will need to go standalone...

Good thing he has that shift light. Maybe it tells him when to put it into D or P??? ANyway, the engine bay looks nice, must have been hard. I heard they turbo everything in Thailand...

the tubo that im going to install is the hks 2535 ball bearing(polished) and the hks intecooler. im probably going to end up running it at 9psi when i do a piggy back ecu and bigger injectors. then its going to be more than 300hp i believe.
