EGR tube replacement

I have read in previous posts regarding a design defect on an EGR tube for a 1994 C280. Has anyone replaced this part with newly designed part? If this part does exist, where can I find it because no one seems to carry this part.

if your egr system works fine, ie does not throw any codes or faulty egr valve, then dont mess with it.

OK. I does not throw errors but was thinking of preventive maintenance. Is it still worth to worry about or just forget about it.

just forget about it. If it goes out, then replace or clean up the pipe.

I took my benz out to the MBenz dealer in Wilmington, NC and i was told that the reason that the chenck engine light was on was because the EGR solenoid valve was bad. so a new one was put in there and still the same fault code. i was later informed that it was the EGR tube, so does anyone know the part number for that tube ? Help is needed please thanks, its annoying little lights on the dashboard that kills me :mad:
