View Full Version : aftermarket wheel install help

hey, ok i'm buying some aftermarket rims. donno the center hub size but pretty sure it's bigger than the one on the car. do i need hubcentric rings or will the wheels go on ok without them?

also do i need to get aftermarket bolts or will the factory bolts bolt on ok?

you will most likely need the longer bolts, youc an get them from the dealer

as for the hub, I can't answer

W202 uses 66.6mm [66.56mm] hubs I believe.

dude buy my fittilpaldi 18s from me.

includes bolts and hubcentric rings.

good ass price too i gotta get rid of them, taking up too much space!!

The place that you're going too should know this before selling
you the rims. If I were you ask them first.

hey, actually was gonna purchase rims from ebay.most of the ppl i emailed didn't know much about fitment so i might just check with discount.

how do these rims look?

i like a machined finnish but these are 16's (which is kinda what i'm looking for or 17" max) but do they look funky?

i really want slk rims tho cuz they are staggered. my car is dropped really low with cut h&r's. so i can't fit much, 17's will prolly rub. so donno if i shuld get the ones in the pics above or slk rims

Have ya seen the AMG 171 style wheels on a W202 yet? ...nice.

MBenzNL has/had them on his car with a nice pic in his in "show off time - ultimate 202 comand" thread or another thread, but I can't seem to find it again.
