So what are some common C280 (98'-00') performance options? - Anyone make cams, headers, chips, intake? - Exhaust is pretty common I guess (Remus, ect.)

A good place to start would be to search the forums for posts by speedybenz. Prior to the C43, he did a lot of work on his C280.

You can always supercharge it like I'm doing to mine, look out C43's muhahahaha. Stock the 280 makes 154 at the wheels, with our charger on it I'm hoping it lays a conservative 254 at the wheels, I may throw in the 320 cams and see if it helps. I know the duration @.050 and the lift are bigger than what the 280 cams are so I may benefit from them. Stay tuned I'll post dyno results soon, gotta finish up the CAI kits first.

That is one of the dumbest things I've ever read on this site. Engine swapping a MB is not that easy. Buying a s/c kit does not make you a man....not too hard to do if you got the $$. Now, building a s/c system for yourself (or developing one) is a whole different story......

agreed I was quoted 20k-22k for an e55 swap, and that was just engine and all that goes with that, a tranny swap and all that shit is another 5k really not worth it, unless you love your car dearly, and or plan to have it forever, and the real forever, not mod the fuck out of it and sell it the year after, any serious mod entails you plan on keeping a car forever, or having no resale value....

113 swap in place of a 112 would be a nice way to go. I just like the thought of waxing a 113 with a blown 112. Kinda like .............Priceless, plus it's a third of the cost and it's unique. That's of course mhop.

I think that would be dope! My confusion stems from that quote of swaaping a motor is lazy.... While, a bulit s/c kit is much easier to install.
