How to install

Hey guys, I bought the mcculloch hid kit - and the instructions are pretty horrid. Can those of you who've installed the mcculloch kit help me out?

First is. the ballast has a white and black wire that connects to the stock harness. Is the black wire the ground?

On the mercedes harness, the brown is ground?

Lastly,

where did you guys install your ballast? and what method? did you tie it down or screw it down? if so where?

first off the black is the ground and yes the brown is to.you need to test for a grounded area to screw the ballast in.its not going to be the same on ether side so you need to plain ahead on placing them.you will need to drill them to your frame and you can put them on a large opening BUT make sure its a negitive area thats what i did.just a tip the black backing to the light housing wont fit with the wires running to it so i took a dreimrole and cut a slit in it just a bit.you want to make sure that the housing dosnt
get water in side it could be some bad times .:beard:
