Stock AMG rims on C280?

Today I saw a c280 sport at the stop light that had 16" AMG monoblocks. I asked the driver if they came stock on the vehicle. He said it did..... How come they stopped putting them on the later models? His was a 97

They came standard on sport models 15"

Wow, I thought all the sport models had the 16" 6 spokes. Someone in my area has those 15" monoblocks, I thought they actually bought them, I couldn't understand why, lol.:rolleyes:

99 sport - i have 16 in. six spoke.. i like newer one better.. 15 < 16

yup 16's on the 99 and up...I like 'em better but they are slightly "feminine" looking...

Want to buy them I am takeing delivery of some nice new 18" amgs some time in the next few days, I havn't decided as to what I will do i might throw my snow tires on them and sell my steel rims
