hahahaha...same goes for biking....why spend $$$ to save miniscule grams on components when you as the rider can shave several POUNDS for the same purpose :p

I would call it pretty close, but still having a lighter bike is even more importnat to make that thing point and go the way you want it to ;)
But overall I do agree, I dropped about 40 lbs and man my bike sure goes up hills a lot easier :beard:

For more effective weight reduction, you might want to combine that with this!

I agree that having a light bike helps....what I meant was if you are nitpicking over grams to go from a 20.5 lb bike to a 20.0 lb bike, I would challenge to notice any difference vs. the money lost from your pocket ;)
I was thinking if you are deleting one of the power seats for a manual in your car and say save 20 lbs....seat might cost you I dunno, say $100.
Working out and losing 20lbs....= free!! :p
Well, that is unless you are hella skinny already....then that might not be a good idea....

Boxing and/or Martial arts i think is the best work out.

Also try jump roping, but first you have to watch a Rocky movie forgot which one where he's in Russia, then you'll be motivated.
Another workout is tinkering with cars, i was working on my friends cars from noon time till now, i must've shed like 3-4 lbs since i was doing all the work.
