do you still have your templates for the SC flanges?

I'd like to use them if you don't need it, maybe you could mail them to me.

What diameter is it? 3"?

Slammed C,

Vibrant eh! :) Looking good! Obviously, on the SLK230, I dont have room to route the filter through the fender, so I had to simplify mine.

Here is mine.

I have the actual drawings for the SC templates (bases only) if ya want them.. I never did make templates of the rest of the flanges.. I changed them so much as I was building, I never made templates of every piece!.. I wish I did, I could make more of them and sell them!!
and you are correct.. its 3" intake tube.

CKlasse: nice work man.. looks tight.
yep.. gotta use vibrant stuff bro.. I got hooked up by a buddy.. he sells vibrant!
and to route yours through the fender.. a 3 1/4" hole saw should do the trick!! lol

Yeah, I have been using vibrant for custom turbo or intake for clients. They hooked me up as long as I sport their name :)

I am installing my intake today

for now it's a short air intake, because I need to route the IC piping before trying to take the intake into the bumper/fender and see if there's space.

Have you had it on a dyno before and after?

How has this affected driving and power without the air recirculating?

Is the SC very loud now?

I just did a custom job myself but im still running plastic for the bottom airway cowls and had to cut into the front to bring add another air duct coming from the other side of the passenger light. Id like to see and hear some more about what some of you others have done with yours?

I second that, there was someone either here or mbworld that was offering a custom intake kit for sale similar to the intake he setup only minus the SC. :) Anyone know what im reffering to?

I installed a very basic intake (no custom flanges and stuff)

and DAMN IT'S LOUD

really, especially when the car is cold, it's reaaaaaly loud.

And while cruising it's a little louder from the inside, not too much.

Soundws very agressive. I'll try and take clips.
