Where to go replace windshield, LA area

Hi guys,

anyone have suggestions on where to go for replacing my cracked windshield?
i know it costs an arm and a leg at MB dealers.....

i m in the Los Angeles area.

i am in the LA area too and looking for a windshield....... i heard of a place in the vally that does it for $140......but i dont know how good they are

If you have comprehensive insurance, I think they will cover a carcked windshield 100%. Check your policy.

I don't think they will even ask when it happened. The insurance companies found out long ago it was much cheaper to cover cracked windshields than to cover the results of a cracked windshield imploding. When driving at highway speeds, there is an enormous amount of force on the windshield. I have seen the results of such an implosion once in my life. It was not a pretty sight.
