So I dont have my C280 and 740i anymore and I have to drive this POS, but its cheap and easy to mod. However, I dont plan spending money on it, but since the 126 is underpowered with the M103 3.0L, I decided to spend a few $$ to improve the performance a bit. Anyways, here are a few pics of what I did so far:

first mod I did to it was K&N replacement filter and a "modified" air box

then the super fuelmax
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v624/nenad16/DVC00224.jpg

and last but not least, Mallory Hyfire 6A ignition system with MSD Blaster SS coil(note my ghetto installation since I dont have my shop, tools and equipment anymore, this was the best I could do, and yes, the coil is zip tied to the wheelhouse which I didnt even bother to cut the ends off LOL)

and here is the pic of my current ride

e55 burned up, but the engine and trans and complete exhaust were unaffected by the fire and the whole car is for sale if anyone is interested, 46kmiles $10k firm. ML is up for sale as well 26k miles $8k obo. I had to sell my C280 and 740i to pay legal fees cuz my fucking racist chinese POS landlord decided he didnt like us anymore and just threw us out without notice. anyways, thanx for your comments.

I dont want to spend any money on this car for bling, just a bit on performance. this car is just a temporary ride till I get back on my feet and can afford something newer and nicer. infact, I dont even have papers for it, if I get pulled over Im fukced.

a bit, of course you cant expect your engine to be supercharged just by upgrading the ignition system, this upgrade usually yields 1-3% power increase, and 2-7% mpg increase.

jnenad16 --

I'm interested in your E55 engine. Shoot me an email with some photo's. This would be a good addition to my C43.

Thanks,

I'm selling the whole car for $10k, I will send you the pics of the whole thing if you want including the engine pics. like I said the engine, trans and exhaust were unaffected by the fire. also, if you could post your email, cuz for some reason I'm unable to view your profile.

Thanks,

Kewl... we'd have 3 W202 C55's within 'bout 50 miles of each other ...!

So what's up Marc?! BTW, those semi racing tires you had ... were they 17" or 18"? If 17", are they still available?

Steve

Jnenad16 -- my email is: mmclaw@optonline.net. Which parts of the car burned? I would need the engine, its computer and its wireing harness -- also, as coolcarlski says, its abs computer. Taking the tranny and associated parts may be useful as well. You said the engine and tranny had 46,000 miles on them; has anything else been done to the car?

Steve -- I wish you had told me you wanted those Michelin Pilot Cups earlier, the tire man may have tossed them by now. I will check with him tomorrow and see if they haven't been picked up by the dumpster people; if they haven't, they're yours. Size is 245 40 18.

Hey Marc I got your message.Thank God I had no legal issues going on by the time you called me back,LOL!:D The whole time my car had an airmass issue.George replaced it(MAF),fuel filter and the spark plugs and the car is like night and day now.Power has gone from 275whp to 293whp.A BEAST.You need to drive it now as compared to b4.

Chgd the motor mounts as well.I'm using E55 mounts which are much more stouter than the 43's.

By the way I sent back the E55 ecu and abs module back to MB because Tonino finally was able to mod my stck C43 ECU which enables me to use the stck C43 abs/esp module. This has in effect saved me $1100.00. You can keep your stck stuff and get it flashed by Tonino if your still gonna do the swap.

George and I kept doing comparisons between the E55 ECU and the C43 modded ECU and the modded C43 ECU kept coming up with consistent higher HP #'s.It has a modded E55 file on it now from Germany.Tonino finally got it right and he is now able to flash anybodies stck C43 ECU to modded E55 specs provided they are using a 5.5L motor. He can mod the stck C43 ECU to suit a 4.3L motor as well. The proof was in the Dyno.

He plans on taking out a lil more fuel at the upper rpm's to get the car over 300whp .The car needs to run at an A/F of 13.5 WOT from 5k rpms to 6500 rpm's for this to be accomplished.

I'm looking to get at least 311 whp like my friend Mario's E55 in California. I hope to speak to you soon, and I'll perhaps just give the busy attorney a call. Take care Marc. PS the dyno I have posted in the most recent dyno thread is with the Modded C43 ECU.I guess Steve can use this ECU info as well.

I was more interested in them if they were 17". Was thinking I could take my snow tires off the 17" Superleggeras and use them for AutoX in the summer. So if it's 18", I'd need to get yet another set of rims, which I don't wanna do. ;) Thanx tho.

I'll have him do mine too. Is the module "plug & play" so I can do it on my own, or will I need to have it done with Jeff's assistance while the car's in his hands?

Nope it's my original C43 ECU Modded with the E55 files from a modded E55 in Germany.,you leave everything alone.I have the stck C43 abs/esp (module)control unit still in the car along with my modded C43 ECU.You don't have to do anything but drop in the 5.5L motor and Tonino does the rest(flash) with your stck electronics. Basically your stck ECU gets FLASHED!!!!!!!!

all the electrical parts burned, including the computers, all the wiring harnesses, and all the internal harnesses and modules, actually entire interior which I replaced with a E430 interior. as for the mods, the entire car was stock. If you are still interested, I will send you some pics these days cuz the car is in storage in another town.
