how much is a sl500 3rd brake light?

anyone know how much a newer sl500 3rd brake light housing is??? i was thinking about molding it to the w202 trunk and shaving the emblems, anyone seen this before?

Not exactly sure about the prices, but make sure you get the later style with LED's. Around 95/96 they changed from bulbs to LED's and are a lot better.

the slk one curves like a "U" kinda, he should have molded it under the trunk line (its molded on the trunk line) what you guys think?

I would have tried to put it upside down, maybe the lines would flow better

but there are so many 3rd brake lights on the market, I'm sure you can either find one that follows the trunk line, or even a totally straight one would maybe be better.

personally I don't like it. It doesn't go with the trunk. Maybe it's too big. Love the painted door handles though...:D
