I think intakes are more noticeable on 4cylinders then 6cylinders..

thats why Rice rockets always sound the way they do.. well that, and Vtech!!! YEAH!!!!!

It may make your car sound a bit different. Better is subjective. What it WILL do is trash your airflow sensor if you use even a bit too much oil on it. If you don't use enough, you will admit too much crap to your engine. Either way, it's a lose/lose situation on a Benz. This is well documented online.

It's always the 'user error.' I usually let any kind of filters sit for 24 hour after oil'ing them.

And, KNN will not change the intake sound on your C280.
