I have four used tires I need to get mounted on some bare rims and was wondering if anyone knew of a place that does good work for a decent price. I used to go to Costco but they now will only work on tires they sell (guess to many people took advantage of them). Most places I have called on the phone want about $30 per wheel. I believe they set the price high to discourge people from bringing in Tirerack tires. Thanks in advance.

Try calling Auto Plus and they're located in
Daly City.

Try Agundis tire shop in South San Francisco and ask for Patrick or Mike.

That is what I'm wondering too. Actually my bet is that the $7.00 is when you buy your tires there. Please tell me if I'm wrong.

Well, I'm half way there. I got the tires mounted and balanced today. Auto Plus wanted $80 and America's Tire wanted $90. This what I expected as they really nail you for everything when they don't make money on a tire sale. Well on the way back to the office there was a small tire shop with zero cars in the lot. I figured they might cut me a deal since the guys working would be standing around. Sure enough one guy was even playing solitiare on the computer. $42 and I was on my way in 15 minutes. I still have two more tires I need to swap but I just don't have the heart to go back as he cut me the deal in the hopes I would come and buy tires next time. Oh well I'll just have to let my C32 rims sit and run my "beater" AMG 170's.
