After installing the HID kit from the group buy, I bought HID headlight housing from Ebay. The difference is nigh and day. The beam patterns are much more focus and adjustable.

cklasse,

where did you find the HID stuff on ebay. I type in (HID w202, c class, c280) nothing ever comes up...

The HID is just an aftermarket HID. The housings are from the online junkyard that sells headlights on ebay.

I usually keyword in : Mercedes xenon headlight. A bunch will pop up. Then contact some of them directly for your application.

Here is a sample
ebay link (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7974079077&category=33710&sspagename=WDVW)

Good luck:D

yeah i had that on my 280... great visibility... but no cut off... of course if you have a 96 and later with the glass headlight housing you will be fine...

nokia and others feel that the only way to really do HID is use the stock HID from mercedes... although i disagree... the points they make are true... even with the glass headlight housing your beam pattern will be scattered...
