I recently got my 1995 C220 repaired after minor front end damage. Ever since then there has been loud squeeking noises coming from the rear, passenger side wheel area.
I washed the underbody/wheel well with high pressure water at the local CoinOp but the squeeks still did not stop. So then I went to AutoZone and bought some WD-40-'esque' stuff and sprayed that all over but still didn't help any. This is very annoying and I can't stand driving it like this!!
I am guessing that it is the bushings acting up. My mechanic said they needed to be replaced in the upcoming months after the repairs were finished. However, I don't want to fork out $500 to get them replaced.
Is there any way I can make it stop without repairing? Where exactly are the bushings located? What does it look like?!
Thanks alot,
Jason
