Whoa, they make me dizzy. They look nice with the green colour though. You don't have lowering springs do you?

yea like i said, 245-30-zr20 all the way around. and i have the stock suspension setup,
the offset is 34et.
yeaup, i have always done huge rims on all my cars. so had to keep with my friends on that one. my buddy has a 5 inch dropped s10 on 22s. so competition around here is pretty nuts.
thanks for the positive feedback so far.

it doesnt look bad IMO...not my style of rim, because it looks heavy as hell
the only reason i would lower my car is jus to fill up the wheel gap, i'm not into the 2"s off the ground look
what if any fender mods did you do to make tires that wide fit

I have those rims on my W202 now. I bought the car with them and quiclky found some replacements. It's to big a rim for a C in my opinion. An S or possibly and E430. Very minimal rubbing problems on mine for those considering 20's , but I'm running a thick pad. I can't wait to slam my C on my 19x10's staggerd. Still working out some fender rubbing issues and need to order #1 pad before I lower it. I'll post pictures as soon as I figure out how post them.

the work was fairly minimal cause i used alot of time and research from learning what ppl did to get 19s and drop on their car, so i figure i can do 20s from what i have gathered. i had to do some grinding here and there on this and that to get them to fit. as for heavy my c280 wasn't meant to be a race car so why make it fast? the amount of money to required to get the power i would want isn't worth it, plus i have a 10 sec bike sittin in my garage if i need to go fast. the car has 4 12 inch subs in the back with a 200 lb box. i mean the hardest thing was getting that 245 tire in the front to work, i only rub the slightest bit at full turn, i had 3 ppl in my car today and went and cruised and only rubbed on one dip in the freeway, and tucked rim when the ppl in the back. as for sittin like an suv, is only 1/4 inch higher than stock. so not really a big differnce, i enjoy the diversified reviews on my rims. but if you really have to slam them f^ck off this is my car not yours.

and socal what rims do you have cause these are actually really new on the market and only come in 18, 20, 22, and 24s? what size were you running?

U need to dump it out hard man.
looks a bit jeepish (high). like the 20s tho, was debating going that big.
need to hard out modify the guards, i only running 18" cromies, and droped it pritty much to on the bumpies and had to modify under the guards with a sledge hammer :-) and had the front guards semi rolled.
running 235/40/18s on the back seems to be ok.
my camber is crazy tho 3.5 degrees camber rear, working on getting camber adjusters tho.
and u put ur car on here to get opinions, so dont slam ppl when they give u their honest opinion man, its part of it.

I have the exact same rims. ICE Metal 888's on 20x 8.5. They came with the car when I bought it, and the previous owner has had them since early 2004. I think we see some stuff sooner here in Cali than elsewhere. The rims are fine, I actually get comments all the time on my black W202, Just not my style. I have heard alot of people hear having issues with running 20's on there C. but I have very minimal scraping. Oh yeah, I ain't hatin either, I don't care if you run Dayton 100 spokes with candy paint on your W202, I don't drive it..............I do belive in modifying everything though. I also have a bike, and a 12.5 second Civic, but I'm still gonna open up my C230 a bit. For about a$1000 I heard you can really bring this car to life...................:D

great job modding something that wouldn't usually be done.
I personally don't like the wheels at all, but I do think it's cool that you have dubs :)

socal thats crazy, the midwest just must be really shitty when it comes to getting product, cause i got these from one of the biggest rim shops around here and he said they are new like very end of last summer or so they came out, and i mean alot of manufactors make rims that look like it, so i took the word of the rim shop over yours when he told me they are so new. sorrie bro. i know i put my car out there for criticism, but a hey thats cool just not my style is worded better than it looks retarded. i mean the fuckin car is the same ride height as stock. 1/8 inch to the eye at ride height is nothing, i will park it next to a stock one so you guys quit blamin the rims for the ride height and blame benz for making a 4x4 platform for the car.

The number for the place that sells those ICE rims here in San Diego is 619-234-6002, so you can here from them yourself. These rims may be new there, but we've had those here for awhile. Actually, they are kinda common since they only sell for $1595 new with Nitto tires(you probably don't have that price avalible either). Ask them about prices. I have a guy lined up to buy mine for $800 with my good tires, and I'm thankful. And when I mean just my style, I mean that. I told you I have those rims and that I get comlements all the time, most of them from black guys. Now that base model teal green color is pretty retarted, but like I said before, I don't drive your car so why would I hate..................
