Spark Plugs PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

I have a 1995 C220 and I was wondering how often you have to change them. Also how often do you have to change the air filter. I ned help badly.

I would just change them. If you are the original owner, then you know how many miles you have put on the car. If you are a second or third owner, I would still change them right away, unless their is a meticulous service record.

Pop open your airbox and see if your filter is dirty. That will be the best indication to whether or not you need to change it.

Is there a certain mileage that the spark plugs need to be changed? About the air filter, what would you consider dirty?

sparkplug changes can be around 30k miles.. or whenever u want really lol.. I have a 2000 1.8t Jetta that has 100,000 miles on it.. nothing has EVER been done to the engine.. it also lacked alot of oil changes.. and I tell you. this engine was abused by me alot.. ALOT of racing lol..

For my 1998 C230 the SERVICE BOOKLET says 45K miles / 4 years for spark plug change.

SERVICE BOOKLET also says 4 years for air filter.

Some people say to preserve the Aiir Mass Meter you should change the air filter yearly.

I just changed my spark plugs after 40K miles of use and the engine seems much smoother now.

Make sure you have the Mercedes Service Booklet and Owners Manual for your car
