Using Older Bumper

What are the differences between pre-facelift and later front bumpers? I have a 2000 but I kind of like the early Auto Couture front bumper better than the later one.

i think the only different would be the mounts. otherwise it should fit perfectly, since i've seen many cars update there bumpers, all you have to do is change the mounts

Is it possible to swap over the chrome trim pieces from the elegance bumper?
