I got some aftermarket 18" rims for my car and the shop told me a week ago I need spacers but never told me what size I need. How would I go about finding about the size I need. And also what size lug nuts would I need to get with them. Thanks.

Need some more info if you would like some help.

1. What size are the rims? 18 x _?
2. What is the offset?

Rims are 18x7.5
5/112

Tires are 225/40/18

And lugs are 12x1.5

Thanks

Do you know the offset??? This is the most important factor in determining spacer size.

How do I find out the offset?

It should be printed/listed on the inside of the wheel. Usually, it's stamped or it's raised lettering right on the wheel. Written in a manner like this:

18 X 8.5 ET35

Check yoour wheel, and let me know what you find.

well ya shouldnt need any spacers with a 35 offset.. thats the ideal offset for the W202.

Hmm... that's weird. I took these rims to this Benz shop and they said I need some spacers. Would I need spacers if the offset was 40?

No spacers needed for 35mm offset. Maybe you just need longer/shorter bolts?

Well.. . would you know what size bolts I need?

If I had the wrong size bolts it would mess everything up right?

THANKS!
