yah man well supposedly if you have that metal plate behind your rear seats...normally its tended that people cut that small rectangular area behind the middle armrest...well yah im not making sense but i havent done that and i still want to...
but yah what i did was remove the first aid kit container...and also suggestion from rhyi was to remove those rear speakers...removing the rear speakers really helped since they are really somewhat non-functional... to remove the rear speakers, remove the speaker grill from the inside of the car, and from the trunk you will find two clips and push up...just play around with it until you remove it, its pretty simple...but it will help! i havent noticed rattling ever since i took those speakers out
Good luck!

I used dynomat for my problem.. on top from the inside of the car and bottom from inside of the trunk.. It worked out really well.

For that problem, when I removed my rear deck, I found that the foam ring on the midbass outer ring had shifted. The midbass outer ring is touching the rear deck physically and causes the rattles. You might want to look at that too.

what i did, i used double sided foam tape and applied to the inside of the cover and put it back on:) it works, rattles are about 85-90% gone, over most of the frequency range that my sub plays at;)
I litterally removed the 3rd brake light ;) and checked if there was anything loose.
No more rattling for me :D even with 1200 watts pushing in the back

I noticed a few loose wires rattling around under the first aid kit area on my car. I used double sided tape and felt under the places where the wires touched the sheetmetal and rattled. Did the trick. I also used double sided tape around the perimeter of the first aid kit lid. I removed the kit and the tray it sits in. The latch no longer works, but tape holds it down pretty ok.
On a related note, I found four speaker holes in my rear deck, two of which were occupied by working speakers, one with a non-working speaker and one with a foam insert. I was told awhile back that the non-working one had to do with a hands-free cell phone option I didn't have...why it'd be in the rear I can't figure out. Pulled it out as well as the foam, made a noticeable improvement in the bass.
Also, I highly recommend cutting a hole behind the armrest if you have more than a couple hundred watts of bass. Anything below that and you probably won't notice much of a difference, but more than that and you can definately tell.
Now if I can just keep the crome trim on my bumper from rattling with my subs, haven't quite solved that one yet.

There are clips on the sides and front edge of the speaker cover, and tabs on the rear edge. It's a little difficult to remove, but push the front edge towards the rear of the car while pulling up on it with your fingertips untill you can free the clips. Do the same for the clips on the sides, but push the grill to the side opposite of where you're pushing from, i.e. towards the passenger side to free the driver's side clips.
It's been awhile since I've removed mine, but this should be accurate.

I just took some rubber washers and plugged them between rattling areas, it worked....

just removed the rear right deck speaker to let some bass through from the trunk. also pulled the cover that rests on top of the speaker, as well as the basket. sounds better now.
now to start listening for rattles...
