ujoint/ front flexdisc broke

ok so last night, driving with fam, heard a pop and then just something kocking against the body, so today, lifted the car with *%^$% benz jack and found the flexdisc/ ujoint by the tranny cracked in 2.

i didn't have a torch, but it feels like there are 2 by the tranny? it's the one in front, threads and hanging out of it,

if this completely brakes off, will the shaft fall off or stop moving? or is it coo if i drive around to find the joint at a parts store without the shaft completely comming off?

same thing happend to my 2.3 190.. dont drive it around it will totally fall apart.. my flex disk fell apart from a bad trans and motor mounts.. it aloud the engine to sit wrong and rub teh flex disk on something else.. causing it to break

damn, yea i'm not driving it. just gonna take it slowly to my shop in the morning, wish teh dealer was open today to get the disc.

The flex disk and the motors mounts are easy to change, see if you motor mounts and tranny mounts need changing and change them too.

hey, really, i just changed my oilpan like 2 months ago, i checked my mounts, they were good.

whats the easiest way to change the flex disc by the tranny
