installed new flexdisc (front)(by the tranny), but got virbration now after 60mph, is there a marking or how do i know which way to put the disc so the balancer keeps it right?

my old one was shreded into pieces.

The writing on the hardy disc has to face the rear of the vehicle.

the hardy disc is the flex disc.. just another term for it.

how many miles are on your ride? did you replace motor or trans mounts? I hope u changed trans mounts at least! becuzz a failed trans mount causes the flex disk to sag down.. thats why it got shreaded apart in the first case!

but in the process of changing your flex disk I think requires you to remove your trans crossmember.. and doing that you could of damaged the motor mounts even more

I recently had my flex disc changed by the dealer under warranty. They changed the engine and transmission mounts while they were at it and said that was why the disc went.

I just changed mine. The only thing of note is the washers need to be on the opposite side on the driveshaft (prong mount). The holes where there is no driveshaft, the washers are on the opposite. I do not know if I described it properly, but in essence some washers are on one side and the others are on the other side.

hey, yea i took out the cross member and evthing, i replaced the hardy/flexdisc/ujoint. it wasn't vibrating before i changed it, like with the old one.

so wondering if there's a proper way to put it in with the balancer? or do u just bolt it on?

the tranny and engine mounts are cracked or broken, but i'll prolly replace the tranny mount soon.

if you removed the drive shaft you need a tool to align it so that its ballanced properly
