I have a C36 and a C43. When I let the car sit for awhile, my windshield fogs up a little by the vents. Is this common?

Are your carpets wet?

Vancouver, Canada, but it shouldn't do it at all. My Jaguar use to do it as well, but that car heats up like an oven.

I think this is normal, my 280 does it. It did it in the dryer climate back home and the humid climate down here.

Someone told me one time that if your windshield fogs up for no reason is that your heater core is about to go... Any truth to that?

My heater works just fine.

Someone said that it is a sign that your evaporator is going. There is also a scent of "stale" air. Has anyone ever changed the evaporator and is it hard? This is very common.
