View Full Version : Loss of gas tank pressure in 99 C230k

My Benz lost pressure in the gas tank.No more sound when I open the tank.Replaced seal,nothing changed.Check engine light on + after a minute idleing the gas reserve light starts blinking.Any idea?

faulty pressure sensor, also a stuck open purge valve could be the problem(s).

It could be a faulty pressure sensor.. it also could be the charcoal cannister shut off valve (white valve), or maybe the mot valve (purge)

are any of these associated with the cruise control? istvan, check to see if your cruise control still works.. my cruise control only goes up to 40mph and then cuts off.

Thank you guys! I check the cruise control tomorrow,never had problem with it.Any idea how to identify the problem and fix it?
Saturday the transmission stuck in 1st gear,didn't want to shift.I had to slow down and accelerate again.It's fine since.What's this??
