Well I got them last week and installed them tonight.
not wired up yet, but wired them temporarily so I could take a pic!

dude i dont get it in NZ thats the sort of stuff you see on hondas and other rice rockets, you all seam to be big fans does this mean you also like neons? i gotta say the white colour is cool but not so shur bout the dot's they project.

can you guys tel me why you like this mod?

^ and wake, there not neons, they are park / sorta lights that only come on when you get out of the car to c where ur hoping out to. not normally for when your driving along

I got them off ebay... $79.99 (u.s.) come in either blue or white LED..

they arent Brabus.. they are Brabus style.. I looked into real Brabus side skirt kit.. youre talkin the price of one Brabus rim for a real Brabus LED kit!!

So far it is not wired permanently.. I wired it up temporarily so I could take a pic with them on.. but Im trying to figure out where I can get the 12v source I need...
I want to wire them up so when I unklock my doors with my remote they come on with the dome lamps and everything as an extra entry lamp to light up the ground.

The colour of the LED is very white.. Im very pleased with the outcome..

for sure 23K.. so far the rear Rieger add-on is mounted.. just gotta do the fornt now and a lil more body work the the bumpers before paint... but its coming along slowly!! I cant believe its taken me so long to get the bumpers mounted up!

Yeh doing the intake,shocks,rear sway,and a hole heap of little things in between doesnt help either;)....
are you molding the rieger front as well?,how much of the car are you painting?

Ps.where did you get your M3 style mirrors?,how much?,they look sooo good!

The install was pretty simple actually... but time consuming.
I removed both my side skirts, layed out the LED's an equal distance apart from one another, marked the locations and then using a 1" hole saw I drilled 5 holes in each side skirt, I then had to file out the holes to fit the LED's through (maybe I should have used a
1 1/8" hole saw)
I then fit the LED's into the holes, ran the wire harness down the side skirt and used a glue gun to hold the harness in place along the side skirt. I ran the second part of the harness through my fenders and up into the engine bay.. I still need to wire them up, I think I may have found where I can wire them up so they come on when I unlock my car.. I was going to try it tonight but it decided to rain just after I got home!.. so no dice today!
I was told the REAL Brabus LED side skirts cost the price of a Brabus rim!.. so what is that.. like $1200??
this kit for $80 is sweet.. very nice kit.

23K: lol.. yeh no doubt man.. all them little things and big things add up to way too many distractions. Hell I just got the LED side skirt kit the other week and its on my car already!!.. Ive had my Rieger kit for 2 years and its just getting put on now!.. where are my priorities?!! lol
Yes the fornt Rieger add-on will also be molded onto the bumper, as well as my euro impact strip for the front bumper.
I have now decided to paint the front and rear bumpers.. so both bumpers will be painted fully. the fenders however will still be done in CF.
lol.. I cant tell ya where I got my Hagus mirrors from!!... Id have to kill ya! I got them form a fellow member on bnzsport.com, payed $350 (u.s.) I think.. way too long ago to remember!!

well aint that a biaaatch!.. looks like the price went up.. but that guy thats selling them for $150 is different from the one I bought mine from.
maybe the ones for $80 are sold out?.. when I bought mine he said he had lots left.. but that was over 2 weeks ago when I bought them off ebay.

i meant 80 for each light, i.e you would drill holes in your own side skirt and do all the wireing to the dome light and just get all the lights for 800$, costly but very cool

23K: Tehy are real Hagus mirros.. I dont think they make them for mercedes anymore.. I know when I was looking for mine, they had already stopped making them.. and that was about 3 years ago now. so I was lucky to find a set.. used mind you but in perfect condition.
my recommendation is to look in the classifieds for em.. you may get lucky.

Star Shield is a company near the Irwindale/Arcadia area and they are custom making me a clear 3M plastic bra, they have many for OEM applications but since they dont have a cut for this particular aftermarket kit, they are custom doing it for me. It's not a clear coat, its pretty much clear 3M tape, and its not cheap either. The cost just to custom Star shield is roughly the price I paid to paint my full kit. I think its worth it, as I dont want to deal with my front bumper pitting and chipping away, this way it'll stay like new forever. I will post pics after I get my kit on, then my car will be almost complete. :D
