The alarm on my 1998 CDI 220 Estate has started going off (always in the middle of the night!) for no reason. No intruder, no wind. It has done it a few times in the last year, but the other night I just had to leave the car unlocked in the end. Can I adjust the alarm (is that the problem) or failing that, disconnect altogether? The alarm arms automatically when I centrally lock the car. can I set it so that the car locks but the alarm doesnt arm?
