A/C Help!!!

Hello every one, i´m new here in forum. I´m from Brasil and my english is not so good, so i´m sory if i write some things wrong!!!
My first question is some thing about my AC, I have a C180 1995, my AC is not digital and it´s doing some thing weird, when i turn on the car it´s OK, but in a few minutes (about 10/15 min) the center exits stops, the air only flows in the corners... Does any one knows what could be???

could be two things:
1) sticking or leaking center vent vacuum element, or
2)faulty control unit

try playing around with the vent position selector knob/buttons. if it responds within the time the center vents are blowing air, then the most likely cause is the vacuum elements. if it doesnt respond at all, the control unit could be the cause of the problem. there could be a few other things that could cause this mafunction, but these two are the most likely causes. if you know a good mechanic in your area, try consulting him on his opinion, since its hard for me to diagnose the problem without inspecting the car myself.
