This is more of an electronics question than interior I suppose.
Either way my 202 is build date of 01/97 upon taking apart the steering wheel/airbag to install the MF 210 airbag I noticed something. The 202 has 4 wires vrs the 5 for the 210. 2 of which are the SRS (duh joey) the remaining 2 are for the horn.
But as posted the 210 has 5. So to those that have installed it what did you do?
Ive asked Mr.NL vai email as well but I'm hoping someone here has done this before and can lend a tip or so.

Its not that cool riding around with my dash clock at 12:00 because I cant set it with the wheel. :(

Received an email from Mr.NL who clarified things. I have the older SRS ring with the 4 wires. Purlple and green I keep for the SRS the other 2 are for the horn which is no longer needed.
So I'll keep the SRS wires and run the 3 new wires to the IC (harness 2)
The horn is attached via the brown/red wire to N (on the Harness 1 as indicated)
I'll need to purchase some extra pins so this project will have to wait till I get to run down to the dealership to buy some.
Super: Let's do something saturday morning... after 11 I tend to stay indoors (I melt easy)
Pnsji: Thats part of my weight saving program. Those 2 buttons were like lead anchors! :p

didn't you start this a while ago? don't tell me you have been spending too much time with the kid ;) it is cool to finally see this come together. i've seen the completed upgrade, by steve, in a certain C43 (not mine). it is so very cool, as is Mr. NL.

I met up with him @ the ikea i took pictures at here in cali. He said he will give you a call! ... i think staying in doors after 11 is a good idea lol...

aint: You know how that goes. Everything is always busy busy busy. But I figure if I'm late to the party on the MF IC and Wheel that there would be more ppl here to lend me a hand with tips to install it... of course that is not always the case as I can tell by the lack of responses... thank goodness for Mr.NL :)
Super: Is that the 215/Jones on the south or north side?

greetingz,
I wont even comment about what those parts ppl told me about what I was doing. They were quite surprise when I leaned over the counter to show them where on the epc those pins were located.
BTW, you still need to pay me a visit to reset the IC gas reading and mileage :p
Yes I travel more than you :p :p :p
Thanks again for all your help Mr.NL

Update:
Mr. NL was kind enough to provide me with some pins to complete the connection between the wheel and the IC sans the horn... still figuring this out.
I guess if aintME or renn208 see this post... how do you set the clock on your cars?
Its still 12:00!!!!

is it stuck at 12? or does it start from 12? i happen to have my bros car here; i wasnt able to set the clock because once COMAND is active, it locks you out from adjusting the clock settings. is the COMAND connected to the other components? if so, it should automatically pull the time from that. Otherwise, i believe holding the R button might work? sorry i cant be of more help.

Update: Horn button is now working. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out where this thing hooks up to as above my car came with 4 wires 2 for horn 2 for SRS the new one came with 5 but finally figured that it was the purpleish wire that was to be connected to the N connector of the IC so now I can honk all I want.
The problem now is that in my excitement I powered up the car with the airbag disconnected now I have to see if the dealer will reset this for me :(
Aint: Holding the R button does nothing other than pulling out a menu that says if I want to reset the cluster.
Shanta wrote the same thing about comand and time. I will wait for my Canbus comand and sort it out then. Right now that red SRS is bugging the shit out of me.

The non canbus tuner has now been swap'd out in favor for the canbus version (if you ever looked at a comand you will see you can take apart different modules and put them back together like lego) and now the clock on my IC works. It gets its time from the comand unit itself hence why there was no setting to adjust it via the MF wheel.
To sum it up, the steering wheel and cluster really give our old cars an updated look and feel. The steering wheel itself is alot better to grip than the standard 202 one not to mention scanning stations with your thumb ;)

With the standard comand when you need to make say a U turn it will tell you to make a U turn and also display a U turn on the comand screen (setting depending of course) and if you wanted to see this arrow you would have to look at the unit taking your eyes off the road. Now the neat thing about installing the IC as well is that it will display the arrow in the cluster so you wont have to look at the center console anymore!!!

Now thats cool beans!
And of course the shot that shows you installed it the right way:
