not sure about 230k but..

#4 front #1 rear for '99 C280 sport

if you front is slightly higher than your rear i thinking it would be the same..

So it depends on what Hans felt like that day? Or what mb had in stock...

Great, or was it to compensate for variations in the suspension components to make a more uniform product.

Take care,

George

Click the red Search button and type in "spring pads"

I'm sure you'll find enough reading material to explain everything.

I understand what they do, and the differences between the different ones. I was just wondering if there was a standard for what the cars came from the factory with. I'm trying to plan out my suspension, and determine exact ride heights, wheel gaps etc, with different wheel / tire and spring / pad combos.

Thanks,

George

What shocks are you guys running, the consensus seems to be the koni yellow adjustable.

How is the ride? Mine is luxo boat right now, but this is my daily driver, so I dont want to have a kidney jarring ride.

Also any problems with bending wheels or rubbing?

I know you guys are in NYC, so your roads cant be better than ours in Jersey.

Also, any idea how low its going to sit with the stock 16" wheels (I plan to run them in the winter with all season tires).

Thanks in advance,

George

I'm sure one of those Threads in the Search function would expain that each car has pads set up according to their options. In addition, it's unlikely that two cars with the same options would sit in the same stance/manner.

Yes Koni's Adj are the one's to use.I just bought a new set so now I'll have my 4k mile Bilsteins up for sale along with the eibach springs.I needed something more aggressive.
