the desing looks good, but as with every intake, you have to make sure it draws cold air, meaning it shouldnt be mounted inside the engine compartment without any heat shield around it separating it from the engine and exhaust manifold.

800 cfm makes a pretty high-flowing air filter. I think K&N allows about 500 cfm.
